Building a life
in aviation.

I’m Nathan Ferguson—an accessory shop technician at SkyWest, an aircraft maintenance student, and the creator of FergAir. This is my experience, what I’m learning, and where I’m headed.

The person behind FergAir

Hands-on today.
Always learning for tomorrow.

01 / My story

From the ramp
to the shop.

My aviation experience started in the FBO world at Signature Aviation and Atlantic Aviation, where service, aircraft handling, and attention to detail go hand in hand. I’ve worked around aircraft, supported customers, and learned how much preparation matters when a ramp gets busy.

Today, I work in SkyWest’s accessory shop while studying aircraft maintenance at Salt Lake Community College. Through FergAir, I document that journey and help other people explore what an aircraft maintenance career can look like.

My long-term interests include general aviation maintenance, avionics, and building an aviation business grounded in practical experience.

02 / Experience

Aviation, from
several angles.

Maintenance shop experience, line service, and customer support—each role has shaped how I approach the next one.
